Philly Love

Hi everyone,

It's almost 2009! (and I still don't have any resolutions yet :/ ). Hopefully, I'll think of some before the work day is over and post them quickly!

I wanted to focus this entry to my local team: the Philly Etsy Team. I joined this team only about a month ago or less, and I'm still amazed at the local talent in this area. The team doesn't only consist of members from the city of Philadelphia, but also the surrounding states and counties.

In honor of this team, I created a treasury of SOME of my favorites from this wonderful group of people. When there are show and event updates for the team, I will be sure to post them on this blog! You can also visit the Philly Etsy team blog by clicking on the team picture found in my right column.

Since the treasury is expired, I've included a list of the shop that I used so you can locate them. :)

What's Your New Year's Resolution?

Hi everyone,

Back to another day at the office. Thankfully, I'm off Thursday and Friday for a long weekend. I'm glad the holiday rush is almost over!

As 2009 quickly arrives, I've been starting to think of my New Year's resolutions. 2008 brought much change to my life as I graduated from college, moved back home and started a new full-time job. As hectic as it all is, I decided that this year is a good year to finally write down some sturdy resolutions to stand by the whole year. Even though January 1 is only days away, I haven't started my list yet. :)

What are your New Year's resolutions??

Looking towards my Etsy shop, I have alot of new items and ideas that will be posted after the new year. This weekend, as I visit my boyfriend, I will be taking photos of all my new creations. I can't wait!

From today, Dec 29, until Dec 31, I will be having a sale for all items in my shop! There are a few items that I would like to clear out, so watch for new and improved discounts!

Getting ready for Springtime!!

I'm finally almost finished with my first, REAL, batch of my birdie sachets. Even though purple is one of my favorite colors AND is also linked to the color of lavender, I went out on a limb and have made my sachets in various colors!

No, spring is not really around the corner due to the beginning of winter. But, if you're like me, the colder the weather gets, the more I look forward to the sunny seasons.

The birdies I have made are in shades of pinks, greens, blues and oranges. I will be producing neutral tones also, but they will be out in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, I'll have this batch done and posted by the new year! Be sure to check by my shop for updates!!

Merry Christmas to all......

........and to all a good night!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I had a fun day with my family and can not wait to get to bed! Tomorrow is a full day of relaxing and sewing! I'm almost finished with one batch of new items. I'll give you a peek at them tomorrow before I post them on Etsy.

Have a good night/morning!

Treasure

I found out that I made 3 differant treasuries today. That's an all time high for me! The one pictured is my favorite. It's by: A Brush and Eisel. I think she chose beautiful items! My birdies made it in there! Here are the link to her treasury and others that also included me:

They will expire Dec. 26! So check soon!

Hello World!

Hi everyone!
I finally have myself a blog that I like! haha. I can't wait to begin posting!! But first, I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Patti and I am a new seller on Etsy. In my store, you will find gift-type items that are machine and hand sewn by me. Since I only opened shop about a month ago, I only have a few items listed. Thanks to holiday vacation, I am currently working on adding more colors and scents to my store.

My hopes for my blog are to show everyone a little about myself and the processes I go though for my Etsy shop. I will post photos and news about current projects, sales, and events as well as the thoughts that may randomly appear in my head. :)

Please be sure to stop back and check out what's going on and feel free to leave comments.

It was nice meeting you!
